EcoPower insulation element SunTube25 double glazing

Optionally, you can choose to add the EcoPower insulation element to your SunTube25 daylight system

This element with double glass (filled with Argon gas) is recommended when the roof is well insulated — ideal for spaces such as living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, or other living areas.

The EcoPower insulation element features 14 cm of Unilin PIR insulation (with an Rd-value of 6.30). The glazing has a Ug-value of 1.1 W/m²K for double glazing.

This provides excellent thermal insulation and also contributes to sound insulation. Thanks to the glazing, it also helps prevent condensation issues. As a result, less heat escapes in winter, and excessive warmth is kept out in summer.

The insulation element is 14 cm thick, with an additional 10 cm tube section on both sides.

A standard set fits a roof thickness of up to 41 cm. With the EcoPower insulation element, this can be extended to 65 cm.

Need extra length? You can easily solve this by adding an extension tube (60 cm each, cut to size on-site).

This extension is installed below the roof module (component C1) and above the diffuser ring with connector tube (component A2).
